Hi Mike. This was a one off event but there are lots more BarCamps around the UK. There is BarCamp Blackpool this weekend (http://barcampblackpool.com/) and BarCampLondon (http://nine.barcamplondon.o... at the end of the month.

I was doing so well at not saying just that trying not to rock the boat and then you go and do it. Naturally I thank Indigo for giving the t-shirts, assuming we don't turn in to walking billboards, but my favourite BarCamps over the years have not had custom t-shirts. To me the essential part of a BarCamp is the people and the freedom for them to communicate. I will also add tea to that list or Caz will kill me. Anything else can be good or bad, but is not essential.

Well, I don't know that t-shirts are an essential for a great BarCamp experience. Personally, I got for the talks and meeting people. Schwag is a nice to have, but I would not put that above oth things.

I hope you don't mind me stating the obvious, but unless you are going to let people know when they need to log in you are going to prioritise people who spend lots of time in front of the computer, and that in fact reduced the diversity of the turnout.

We would be happy to sponsor some cookies for the coffee breaks on either Saturday / Sunday or both. These cookies are very popular with both pupils and staff at our school and rival the best efforts of Millies Cookies Co!

The restaurant at our school has received 5* (Gold Standard) from environmental health and are designated a 'Healthy School' (although cookies hardly constitutes healthy!)

We could deliver them as well.

I teach at Our Lady's High School, not too far from Salford, and would like to support this event.

If you want to take us up on our offer, please provide an approximate indication of quantity required. These will be baked on the Friday 16th September.

You will have to wear some kind of ID during the event. If you don't want to use your BBC badge then you will have to try and get a ticket along with everyone else and signup with a non-bbc email address
